This Oxbox system is a split-system dual fuel heat pump designed to provide efficient cooling, electric heat pump heating, and high-efficiency gas heating for residential applications. The dual-fuel configuration allows the system to operate in heat pump mode during mild outdoor conditions and automatically transition to gas heat during colder temperatures, optimizing comfort and energy efficiency throughout the year.

The system includes the J5HP5042A1000AA outdoor heat pump, rated at 3.5 tons with 14.3 SEER2 efficiency and designed for R454B refrigerant, delivering dependable cooling and heat pump performance. Indoor heat transfer is supported by the J5MXCD018AC6HCA cased evaporator coil, a D-cabinet design compatible with 1.5–3.5 ton applications, ensuring proper airflow and system matching.

For heating, the system is paired with the J962V100DU5SA gas furnace, featuring two-stage operation, 96% AFUE efficiency, and 100,000 BTUH heating capacity. The two-stage design improves temperature consistency while maximizing fuel efficiency.
